FURTHER EDUCATION AND HIGHER EDUCATION ACT 1992

This Act created the Further Education Funding Council and made them responsible for organising places in Further and Higher Education for people up to 19 (or 25 at an independent college for students with special Needs).  It covered all Further Education outside school.  This responsibility has now transferred to the Learning and Skills Council.
